Speakers Bio

Adam Erlich

I have 30 years of experience in business development and technology commercialization within the Hard Tech sector, I specialize in helping startups translate breakthrough innovations into high profit, long-term revenue. I have worked with dozens of different companies and many of my relationships last well over 5 years. I am currently working for 6 different companies including spinouts from Harvard, MIT, and Oxford University.

A cornerstone of my success has been identifying and engaging the right technology leaders inside major corporations—those who not only provide critical feedback but also become internal champions. For instance, I consulted for Metalenz (www.metalenz.com) from its inception and initiated discussions with STMicroelectronics, ultimately leading to their meta-optics being deployed in over 150 million mobile devices.

My academic background includes a degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University and master’s degrees from both George Washington University and Columbia University. I am also a registered patent agent.

I began my career at Digital Optics as their first sales and marketing lead, where I scaled annual revenue from $200K to $10 million in 5 years, which established the foundation for a career defined by growth, innovation, and strategic impact.

I have also written a book on the deep history of AI development and the innovation process. It is currently with my editor, and I am planning for it to be published in '27.
